The Naga Peak

The Naga Peak. (Khao Ngon Nak เขาหงอนนาค) (Dragon Creast, Khuan Sai)

Here's where the real auspicious Naga exists!  One that actually allows us to take a ride but certainly with deep respect and appreciation.

Resting in southern Thailand in the province of Krabi, the Mountain of Naga Peak is an oceanic jungle within the national park, that needs even more gentle love and care from us all, with a 4.7 kilometer awesome forested trail from its foot to the very top.

This is where the views of limestone karst mountains and the islands in the Andaman Sea as well as the gorgeous coastline of Krabi are seen truly amazing to our eyes. (A total of about 10 k. to ascend and descend back.)

Seen (looking north) from the aircraft flying over the Andaman in front of the Noppharat Thara Bay, near the center of picture slightly above and to the right, the mountain of Naga Peak and its top can be clearly seen pointing splendidly
to the sky over the horizon.

Flying over the Mountain of Naga Tail (เขาหางนาค - Khao Hang Nak)
which is south of the Naga Peak, still looking north,
the Naga's tail, a small mountainous peninsula stretches out into the
Andaman Ocean, of the Mountain of Naga Peak is beautifully
seen from the aircraft. (Looking north) (The Mountain of Naga Peak
and its top is now just behind the wing tip of a plane and only the left
side area of the mountain, its west side, can be seen just above most center left
of the picture at the horizon.)

The beautiful wild flowers, along the trail, and the forest bees
wonderfully at work.

" The Floor " of the forest that is breathing and is completely inter-related
and inter-connected, truly amazing!

Near the summit, the beauty and charm of this oceanic forest
the mountain of Naga Peak is just marvellous!

Here is how wonderful it's like at the Naga's head, the summit.
One must see it all for her-himself.

The watery Naga's eyes near the top.
What a refreshing feeling, like born again!, to wash one's face
and head at the Naga's eyes.

The Samed-Daeng tree, a strange in appearance for this one
on the Naga's head near the top, plants of the oceanic forest.

Over the cliff, a breath-taking view and the wild flowers

Here is what it's like to be standing on the ledge of the rock at the very top overlooking the Noppharat Thara Bay to the left and
Thub Kaeg Beach to the right.
Just above the center of picture the Naga's tail can be
seen as a small mountainous peninsula stretches
out into the Andaman Sea. ( Looking south.)

Slightly to the right and above the center of picture Ao Nang Bay, Ao Phra Nang Bay, and Railey West beaches can be magnificently seen.
To the most center right of picture Klong Son canal is also seen.
Left of Klong Son is Noppharat Thara Beach Bay.

The fact is the Naga Peak trail is not new. Roughly around ten-thousands of people have been there each year and it has been so many long years. If we logged on to the Google map then, of course these days, quite a few many beautiful pictures, that friendly people have posted, of the Mountain of Naga Peak could be really enjoyable.

Have your own fun and appreciation to the mountain of Naga Peak when opportunity arised. Help to add even more gentle love and care to this wonderful watershed jungle for yourself and the next generations and our one world too!!!

Oh by the way, almost forget, some people actually started their hiking to the top some hours well before dawn to see the wonderful sunrise at the peak. The sunset is stunning too at one of the view points, on the way to the top, that faces about west. Nice to be all well prepared and with national park rangers' phone numbers. One life, live it!

Good luck and all the best,
